What to do if it Rains?

Rainy Wedding.jpg

Most people don't plan for it to rain on their wedding day, but unfortunately, we can't control the weather. Although rain may not be ideal, it's always a good idea to have a backup plan in case any last-minute changes need to happen. Rain isn't always a bad thing! It creates the BEST diffused lighting and we can get artsy with your photos!

My Number one tip is to BE PREPARED in case it rains! I have a pair of clear umbrellas that I keep in my car so we can pull them out at any moment! I also suggest purchasing one clear umbrella for every two people in your bridal party just to be on the safe side! It's very important to BE FLEXIBLE! You probably have a timeline that you have been studying for months but it's ok to make changes and move things around. Trusting your vendors is very important and we will be doing everything we can so your day goes well! Rain doesn't mean we can't shoot at the locations you picked out months ago. We can use our clear umbrellas and take some beautiful photos outside but be aware you may get your dress wet or a little dirty. I understand if you are a little hesitant to get dirty but just remember your dress can be cleaned. Your photos are the one thing you will constantly be looking back on from your wedding day so it's important that you get the most out of them!

When picking your wedding venue, if you plan on having an outdoor wedding it is important to make sure they have a backup plan in case it rains. Make sure they are willing to make last-minute adjustments! The last, and most important tip is to try and REMAIN POSITIVE! If you don't let the rain get to you, others won't either. Remember, this day is all about you and a little rain won't stop your loved ones from showing up and helping you celebrate!
